Let’s talk periods. For as long as I can remember I’ve always hated that time of the month. Let’s face it, periods pop up at the worst times! For example, you have a special night planned with bae or you’ve got a night out on the town planned with the girls. Maybe if my period would just come when my app says it’s coming, we would have a better relationship, but the surprise visits don’t sit well with me. But what do we really hate about periods? For me, it’s the intense cramps, the backaches, arguing with my partner for no reason and my mood swings that are so sharp I get whiplash. It’s a lot. Now, how do you travel with all this going on? You have to prepare to combat any mishap. I know this sounds like Mission Impossible, but I’ve done it and so can you! Here are a few things you’ll need for your mission:
Portland, Jamaica is definitely one of the island’s best secrets! There are many things to do, especially if you are madly in love with the water like I am. I had the pleasure of taking a second trip to Portland with the @tekatripja (check them out on Instagram) team, to visit Reach Falls & Boston Beach.
Negril is one of my favorite destinations in Jamaica, so naturally worth more than one blog post. Grab a knife & fork and allow me to take you on every mouthwatering stop I made while enjoying the sights in Negril Jamaica!
If you’re reading this, chances are you have a trip coming up or you’re in the planning stages of your next vacation, so congrats! For my readers who are still in dreaming phase of vacationing, check out my post on travelling broke, for a few tips on how to make your dream a reality!
Before “Your Travelling Pen”, there was “The Food Herald” my first public blog. Food is a major part of my life as I grew up the daughter of a baker/chef, so food has helped to shape my whole life. So starting “The Food Herald” which was my restaurant review blog, was definitely a path my family understood me taking. Now as a travel blogger, sharing my experience with the dining scene everywhere I go is on my list of things to do. So let’s get right to it!
